Life Group Member Update

Life Groups Starting Soon – a whole new way to meet!

Throughout these last few weeks, it’s easy to feel like “everything” has changed. While things may look different, one thing that will never change is the fact that God is at work and we still need each other. In fact, we need each other even more during this season! That’s why our Life Group team continues to make our small groups a huge priority at North Coast Church. We are highly committed to making sure social distancing doesn’t mean social isolation for anyone. Life Groups are still the number one way to stay connected at North Coast. The Spring session kicks off April 5 – and while this quarter may look different than what we’re used to, we are excited to see what God will do, and we are expectant for Him to work in ways like never before.

LIFE GROUP SIGN-UPS BEGIN ONLINE THIS WEEKEND (MARCH 28)

What’s Normal – Your group will meet on its usual day and time.
What’s Different – Your Life Group is meeting online.

How to meet online:
Your leader or host will be in contact with you in the next week to let you know how your group will meet online.   Our recommendation is to use Zoom.  Click here to download it or find other options.

What if I need help on how to get online?

    1. Contact your leader, host, or another techy person in your group to help.
    2. Check out these links that will coach you through it.
    3. Contact any of our Life Group Team – we’re here to help and coach you through.

What if I don’t have a computer or working video cam?

There’s a call option on Zoom.  We’ve tried it, and it works.

Are we adding new people to our groups?
If you have openings in your group, then possibly. We don’t ever want to close our doors or groups as a church to reaching and connecting people to other followers of Jesus.  It is the great commission to reach others for Jesus (Matthew 28:19-20).

THE SPRING QUARTER WILL START THE WEEK OF APRIL 5
What will the meetings look like?

It will be a new adventure – Many groups have already begun meeting online and it’s worked really well. It’s a whole new experience, but also be prepared for it to take a little getting used to. We’ll be coaching you in creative ways to help your group thrive during this season. It may feel awkward at first. Be patient, persistent in figuring it out, ask for help, and be gracious to those that need a little more assistance. All of these resources are designed for one central purpose: to keep you connected. And you know what we like to say around here… life is better when we’re connected!

If you have any questions, be sure to let your Life Group leader know. If you need to get in touch with the Life Group office, email [email protected].

Have a wonderful Spring quarter!
